Grazzini-Rucki: Federal agent posing as plumber has me in a safe house

Sandra Grazzini-Rucki claims a federal agent with the United States Marshals Service, who posed as a plumber has placed her in protective custody in a safe house, according to an interview broadcast yesterday live online.

Grazzini-Rucki also said during her interview that she is being held by the United States Marshals Service in advance of a warrant being issued for her arrest.

Her claim that she is being protected and held by the United States Marshals Service is the latest in a series of outlandish falsehoods made by Grazzini-Rucki, who has a documented and extensive record of lying both in and out of the courtroom.

Multiple law enforcement agencies contacted today, including the United States Marshals Service, confirmed Grazzini-Rucki is not in custody.

Since being convicted in July 2016 of six felonies for her role in the disappearance of her daughters, Grazzini-Rucki’s false statements and accusations have become more outrageous and untruthful. Continue reading →

Court grants emergency motion to remove threatening post by Evavold

A judge in Dakota County granted an emergency motion today ordering Dede Evavold to remove a threatening blog post which contained the private address of the Rucki family.

Judge Philip Kanning granted the motion filed by Lisa Elliott on behalf of the Rucki family at a court hearing this afternoon on the Harassment Restraining Order (HRO) granted by a court in Dakota County earlier this year.

Elliott said in court today that Evavold’s post published the private address of the Rucki family on a platform with a “dangerous” audience. Evavold did not respond to Elliott’s claims in court, but Judge Kanning said he would immediately grant the motion filed by Elliott.

Judge Kanning also granted Elliott’s request for a continuance of today’s hearing. Elliott told Judge Kanning that she is waiting for a subpoena to be answered which will provide her with additional evidence to document Evavold’s continued harassment of the Rucki family.

Evavold argued in court against the continuance of today’s hearing, by claiming that she has not had any contact with the Rucki family. Judge Kanning said Evavold’s arguments will be answered during Evavold’s upcoming criminal trial scheduled to begin next year.

Before the hearing ended, Judge Kanning reminded Evavold that the HRO granted by Judge Karen Asphaug in July remains in effect.

Evavold was sentenced on November 10, 2016 after being found guilty of six felony charges related to her involvement in the disappearance of Samantha and Gianna Rucki, who were abducted by their mother near their home in Lakeville, Minnesota on April 19, 2013 during a custody and divorce dispute involving their parents – Sandra Grazzini-Rucki and David Rucki. Dede Evavold caught lying in court documents on the eve of hearing

One day before she is scheduled to appear at a court hearing on a Harassment Restraining Order filed against her, Dede Evavold has been caught lying in documents she submitted to a court in Dakota County.

Evavold has a court appearance tomorrow at the Dakota County Western Service Center in Apple Valley, for an evidentiary hearing on the Harassment Restraining Order (HRO) granted by a court in Dakota County.

In her Motion to Vacate the HRO filed with the court in Dakota County on Sunday, Evavold claimed she “filed a police report against David Rucki on 12/6/2017 with the Lakeville Police Dept…” According to Evavold’s motion, she filed a police report against David Rucki for “falsely reporting a crime” committed by Evavold.

In a bizarre twist, the Lakeville Police Department confirmed today that Evavold did not file a police report against David Rucki as she claimed. Continue reading →

Online rant from Evavold shows she is a ticking time bomb

Dede Evavold’s poor decisions over the last few years have started to pile up, and an online rant from Evavold last evening shows she is a ticking time bomb.

In a post acknowledging that she is being sued in civil court by David Rucki, Samantha Rucki, and Gianna Rucki for her role in the disappearance of Samantha and Gianna for 944 days, Evavold made a direct threat at her “opponents”:

“It’s time that our opponents are subjected to the natural consequences of their cruel and criminal actions they have so freely wrought upon us. We need to go beyond acknowledgment of the corruption to actually taking action. Stop operating in fear and get on the frontlines!”

Evavold has a long history of using social media to threaten and harass David Rucki, his family, and anyone who reports on her criminal activity. Evavold and her blog have posted pictures of the Rucki home, maps to their home, and pictures of the Rucki family.

At her sentencing hearing last November, Judge Asphaug also said Evavold “showed no remorse or comprehension” for her actions against the Rucki family, adding that Evavold’s actions “disrupted a family for 944 days.”

In October, Evavold lost her appeal of her criminal conviction and just this week, Office of the Appellate Courts notified Evavold that her petition for review to the Minnesota Supreme Court was not properly filed and would need to be resubmitted.

Last evening, a clearly frustrated Evavold made it known who her “opponents” are and what she plans on doing. As with Sandra Grazzini-Rucki, Evavold’s behavior should scare you.

Evavold publishes angry rant hours before court hearing

Just hours before she will appear in court for an evidentiary on possible probation violations, Dede Evavold published an angry rant referring to her hearing as the “continued misconduct of public employees.”

An evidentiary hearing is scheduled for tomorrow at 1:30 PM at the Dakota County Judicial Center in Hastings, where a determination will be made if Evavold has violated the conditions of her probation.

In a blog post tonight, Evavold wrote:

My contested probation revocation hearing is scheduled tomorrow (Nov. 2nd) in Hastings. This is just continued misconduct of public employees by intentionally and unlawfully attempting to harm me under the color of official authority. Even if I wasn’t falsely convicted, this would not be lawful or justified!

At a probation violation hearing in September, Evavold denied she violated the conditions of her probation which prohibited her from making any reference to Rucki family in her use of social media.

As previously reported by Missing in Minnesota, Evavold has repeatedly violated the explicit terms of her probation by continuing to reference the Rucki family in her use of social media.

10 days ago, Missing in Minnesota posted about a missing child, a sixteen-year-old boy who was missing from Hutchinson. We are so pleased to be able to report that Dominick Curtiss was found safe five days later.

That alone is the happiest of endings to that story.

But what happened with that post is something that we are truly grateful for and something that we want you to know.

In less than a week’s time, the post about Dominick Curtiss was shared over 4,000 times and reached over 256,000 people. Those are incredible numbers!

We started this Facebook page less than one year ago as an extension of MissinginMinnesota.com.

The website was set up initially by Michael Brodkorb as a way to report on the legal developments about the adults charged in the disappearance of Samantha and Gianna Rucki. When he started, he thought by this time, the case would be closed; there would be nothing left to report on.

Dede Evavold’s revenge against the Rucki family

Dede Evavold is scheduled to be arraigned in Dakota County next week on new criminal charges filed against her related to her continued online harassment of the Rucki family.

On July 28, 2017, a judge in Dakota County signed a Harassment Restraining Order specifically stating “[Evavold] shall not name any member of the Rucki Family in any blog posting, social media posting, or internet posting” after determining “an immediate and present danger of harassment” by Evavold existed.

According to a criminal complaint filed in Dakota County on September 12, 2017, Evavold violated the Harassment Restraining Order (HRO) on August 2nd, August 3rd, and August 15th by posting names and photos of the Rucki family.

Evavold’s arraignment next week comes in the wake of two recent sentences in Minnesota, both for charges under Minnesota’s newly enacted “Revenge Porn” law. Continue reading →

Dede Evavold may face additional criminal charges

Dede Evavold may face additional criminal charges for violating a Harassment Restraining Order granted by a court in Dakota County to protect David Rucki and his family from her continued harassment.

Evavold violated the Harassment Restraining Order (HRO) less than 36 hours after being warned by a judge at a court hearing in Dakota County that she could face additional criminal charges, including gross misdemeanor and felony charges if she continues to violate the HRO.

In July a judge in Dakota County found that “an immediate and present danger of harassment” by Evavold existed to warrant the granting of a Harassment Restraining Order (HRO) requested by David Rucki and his daughter, Samantha Rucki, against Evavold.

The HRO requested by David Rucki and Samantha Rucki also protects Gianna Rucki and two other minor Rucki children from being harassed by Evavold.

Since the HRO was granted, Evavold has repeatedly violated the conditions of the HRO with her continuous harassment and threatening behavior toward the Rucki family.

On September 12, 2017, Evavold was charged with three criminal counts of violating the HRO. Evavold is scheduled to be arraigned at the Dakota County Western Service Center in Apple Valley on October 17, 2017, at 9:00 AM.

If convicted, Evavold could be sentenced up to 90 days in jail and/or a $1,000 fine on each charge. Continue reading →

Pizza Ranch fundraiser for White Horse Ranch canceled

A fundraiser hosted by Pizza Ranch to benefit a ranch where two missing sisters were held for 942 days was abruptly canceled after widespread public outrage.

According to the promotional materials for the fundraiser, Pizza Ranch in Alexandria, Minnesota would be “donating a portion of their sales during that time” to White Horse Ranch, which is owned by Doug and Gina Dahlen.

Doug and Gina Dahlen were sentenced in May to one year in jail for their role in the disappearance of Samantha and Gianna Rucki from Lakeville, Minnesota.

Earlier today, the staff at Pizza Ranch confirmed they would be donating a portion of their sales to the White Horse Ranch. After being informed about the controversy surrounding the ranch and the criminal history of both Doug and Gina Dahlen, staff insisted the fundraiser would still be held.

But hours after Missing in Minnesota posted details about the fundraiser on Facebook, the event was canceled.

As of 6:00 pm last evening, the Facebook post published by Missing in Minnesota has been viewed by over 13,000 people with over 250 comments.

Dan Gray, the owner of Pizza Ranch where the fundraiser to benefit the White Horse Ranch was scheduled to be held contacted Missing in Minnesota this morning to apologize for scheduling the event.

“I apologize,” said Gray, adding “if I ever do it again, I’ll do a little more research.” Gray noted that he hosts numerous fundraising events for the community each year.

Federal civil rights lawsuit filed by MacDonald dismissed

A federal civil rights lawsuit filed by Michelle MacDonald in March 2015 against Dakota County stemming from her arrest while representing Sandra Grazzini-Rucki in a family court hearing has been dismissed.

It was during the custody hearing involving Grazzini-Rucki and her ex-husband, David Rucki, on September 12, 2013, that MacDonald took pictures in the courtroom which led to her being arrested.

MacDonald spent a portion of the trial representing Grazzini-Rucki while confined to a wheelchair after her own refusal to walk back into the courtroom. MacDonald also refused to put on her shoes and glasses, or provide her legal name and address to law enforcement.

The Memorandum Opinion and Order Granting Defendants’ Summary Judgement, written by John R. Turnheim, Chief Judge of United State District Court of Minnesota, dismisses all of MacDonald’s claims. Because the court has ruled that no grounds exist for the lawsuit, attorneys representing Dakota County have requested that the court order MacDonald to pay costs incurred by Dakota County due to the lawsuit.

In March of 2016, the court dismissed many of MacDonald’s claims including, false arrest, false imprisonment, malicious prosecution and retaliatory prosecution leaving only a few claims left to argue.

At that time, the court also found no grounds for claims of excessive force and state assault and battery “which related to her removal from the courtroom, removal of her personal effects, and placement in a wheelchair.”

Also dismissed were claims of equal protection, federal conspiracy, negligent and intentional infliction of emotional distress and finally a claim by Thomas Shimota, MacDonald’s husband, for loss of consortium. Continue reading →

Jasmine Block: Missing in Minnesota for 29 days

On the evening of August 9, 2017, the Missing in Minnesota Facebook page received a private message containing a link to a post by the Alexandria Police Department. The message was simple: “Please post this on your site.”

15 year-old Jasmine Block had been missing for approximately 26 hours by this time and the police were already hard at work looking for her.

Two days later, on August 11, 2017, another message from a different person. This message contained an updated poster with Jasmine’s pictures. So many people were working so hard to spread the information about Jasmine.

No one knew then where Jasmine was or who she was with, no one knew what hell she was living.

This past Tuesday, while the majority of kids in Minnesota were sitting in classrooms on the first day of school, 15 year-old Jasmine was escaping. Continue reading →

Dede Evavold facing additional jail time

Dede Evavold is facing more jail time after a judge in Dakota County accepted the recommendations of Dakota County Community Corrections who want Evavold back in jail for repeatedly violating the terms of her probation.

Evavold has been summoned to appear in Dakota County District Court for a Probation Violation Hearing on September 28, 2017.

According to a written recommendation submitted by Dakota County Community Corrections, Evavold violated the terms of probation when she “[f]ailed to comply with order to, not reference any of the Grazzini-Rucki family on any social media.”

As previously reported by Missing in Minnesota, Evavold has repeatedly violated the explicit terms of her probation by continuing to reference the Rucki family in her use of social media.

Evavold defends Neo-Nazi, Ku Klux Klan, and white supremacist gathering in Charolettesville

Dede Evavold, who was convicted of six felonies related to her involvement in the disappearance of two sisters, has published numerous posts defending the Neo-Nazi, Ku Klux Klan, and white supremacist gathering Charolettesville, Virginia which led to the death of three people.

Evavold’s defense of the Unite the Right rally held last week comes at a time when she is violating both a recently granted restraining order and the terms of her probation by harassing and threatening David Rucki and his family from Lakeville, Minnesota.

Missing in Minnesota is not linking to the posts published by Evavold because of the incendiary tone of material and also due to her perpetual harassment of the Rucki family.

Convicted felon Evavold continues to harass Rucki family

Dede Evavold, who completed her jail sentence in January after being convicted of six felonies for her role in the disappearance of Samantha and Gianna Rucki from Lakeville, continues to harass and target the Rucki family in her use of social media.

As previously reported by Missing in Minnesota, Evavold has repeatedly violated the explicit terms of her probation by continuing to reference the Rucki family in her use of social media.

Evavold was charged in December 2015 related to her involvement in the disappearance of the Rucki sisters, who were taken by their mother near their home on the night of April 19, 2013, during a custody and divorce dispute involving their parents – Sandra Grazzini-Rucki and David Rucki.

Last week, Evavold’s blog published a post which not only mentions multiple members of the Rucki family, including Samantha Rucki, but the post also contained a picture surreptitiously taken of the Rucki family talking with their attorney before they entered a courtroom for a hearing.

After Evavold posted a picture of the Rucki home in Lakeville on social media, a representative of the Rucki family told Missing in Minnesota that Evavold’s behavior shows she does not comprehend the severity of her crimes, and that Evavold still poses a direct threat to the Rucki family and the general public.

On September 29, 2016, Evavold was found guilty on six felony counts for her role in the disappearance of the Rucki sisters. At that time, Judge Karen Asphaug made the decision to keep Evavold in custody rather than permitting her to return home until the time of her sentencing hearing on November 10, 2016.

In reference to her decision to remand Evavold to custody, Judge Karen Asphaug said, “…I do not have faith that she will appear for sentencing, nor do I have faith that she will obey the no-contact orders that have been issued in this case.” Continue reading →

Dede Evavold’s dangerous and demented deception

Dede Evavold had never met Samantha and Gianna Rucki before she helped orchestrate the kids disappearance from their family and friends.

Evavold was friends with their mother, Sandra Grazzini-Rucki and on April 19, 2013, Grazzini-Rucki abducted her daughters near their home in Lakeville, Minnesota during a custody and divorce dispute with her ex-husband David Rucki.

The sisters were taken by their mother near their home in Lakeville, Minnesota, in violation of a court order.

In the hours after the Rucki sisters vanished, it was Evavold who connected Grazzini-Rucki with Doug and Gina Dahlen, who owned the ranch where the Rucki sisters were found on November 18, 2015 – 944 days after they disappeared. The girls were found living on the Dahlens’ ranch in Herman, Minnesota by law enforcement, headed by the Lakeville Police Department.

While Grazzini-Rucki’s involvement with the disappearance of her daughters generates the most headlines, it is Evavold who is considered by many to be the most dangerous and demented of the adults involved in the disappearance of the Rucki sisters. Continue reading →
