A court hearing has been scheduled for next month about Doug Dahlen’s, refusal to comply with a court order to leave or cooperate in the sale of a property in northern Minnesota where two missing Lakeville sisters lived for over two years after disappearing from their home.

Doug and his third wife, Gina Dahlen, have each been charged with two felony counts of deprivation of parental rights involving the disappearance of Samantha and Gianna Rucki, who disappeared during a custody and divorce dispute involving their parents on April 19, 2013. Continue reading

Owners of ranch where missing Rucki sisters lived violate court order to leave property

Doug and Gina Dahlen, the owners of a ranch in northern Minnesota where two missing Lakeville sisters lived for over two years after disappearing from their home, have been living on the property in violation of a court order since May 2015.

Dahlens make offer to testify against Evavold and Grazzini-Rucki

Doug and Gina Dahlen, the owners of a ranch in northern Minnesota where two missing Lakeville sisters lived for over two years after disappearing from their home, have offered to testify against Dede Evavold and Sandra Grazzini-Rucki related to girls’ disappearance if they are granted immunity from prosecution.

The Dahlens, who own the White Horse Ranch in northern Minnesota, have each been charged with two felony counts of deprivation of parental rights involving the disappearance of Samantha and Gianna Rucki, who disappeared during a custody and divorce dispute involving their parents on April 19, 2013. Michelle MacDonald not endorsed by GOP

Michelle MacDonald, the controversial Republican endorsed candidate for the Minnesota Supreme Court in 2014, was not endorsed by the Republican Party of Minnesota for the Minnesota Supreme Court after Republicans decided not to endorse judicial candidates.

MacDonald had been recommended by the Republican Party of Minnesota Judicial Elections Committee to be endorsed again by the Republican Party of Minnesota for the Minnesota Supreme Court.

MacDonald recommended for GOP endorsement for MN Supreme Court

Michelle MacDonald, the controversial Republican endorsed candidate for the Minnesota Supreme Court in 2014, has been recommended by the Republican Party of Minnesota Judicial Elections Committee to be endorsed again by the Republican Party of Minnesota for the Minnesota Supreme Court.

MacDonald was endorsed by Republicans in 2014 to run against Justice David Lillehaug for a seat on the Minnesota Supreme Court. After MacDonald was endorsed, news broke that she was facing criminal charges for suspicion of drunken driving and resisting arrest. Continue reading

Former attorney involved with disappearance of Lakeville sisters has died

A former attorney who was involved in the disappearance of two sisters from Lakeville has died.

Dale Nathan, who told the Star Tribune last April that he was in a car driven by Sandra Grazzini-Rucki on the night she picked up her two daughters — Samantha and Gianna Rucki — after they ran from their home in Lakeville on April 19, 2013, died yesterday morning. Continue reading
